PS5 No Signal in Bristol? HDMI Port, Cable or Board Fault?
A PS5 that powers on but shows no picture does not automatically need an HDMI port. Start by ruling out the TV input and a known-good HDMI cable. If the socket is loose, visibly damaged or the picture changes when the cable moves, the connector itself becomes more likely. If the port looks intact, the video path can still have a board-level fault. Our PS5 HDMI port repair Bristol page explains the workshop checks, while the main PS5 repair Bristol guide covers other symptoms.
What we check before replacing a port
We inspect the connector under magnification, look for bent pins and damaged anchor points, check the surrounding board and confirm whether a stable display signal can be produced. Diagnosis matters because replacing a healthy connector does not solve a fault elsewhere in the HDMI path.
